1. Browser based attacks (where a user's infected computer serves ads over those scheduled by the website they are viewing).
2. Ad based attacks, where scamware is distributed through ads without the knowledge of the website.
In both scenarios, the attacks occur without the knowlege of the website the user is visiting. It is not the policy of ExoClick to deliver misleading, malicious or offensive advertising to users (for more information, see our terms and conditions here.)
In spite of our technology and the experience of our support staff, the source of these attacks can be very tricky to identify, user reports are often our best method for finding and stopping these issues quickly; with that in mind, please answer the following questions:
1. What's your login?
2. What's your email address?
3. What's the URL of your site?
4. What was the time of the incident?
5. In which country are you located?
6. What browser are you using?
7. What antivirus are you using?
8. Did you detect the attack while the page was loading or when you clicked on a specific ad?
9. In the case of a particular ad, please copy and paste the link of the banner: right click on the banner > this frame > information of the frame and copy the URL starting with http://syndication.exoclick.com/...
